Woodstock feeling in Bergheim: Open air stage at the 'Aachener Tor'. Over 50 artists in ever changing lineups payed hommage to all Woodstock legends from Hendrix to Cocker.

Apart from the concert's initiator/organizer Dieter Kirchenbauer, Flying-Circus/Thin-Crow-guitarist Michael Rick probably was the one musician who stood on stage most.

Michael Rick now with acoustic guitar - as one quarter of the 'Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young' tribute 'Boles, Kirchenbauer, Warnecke and Rick'.

Between 1.500 and 2.000 fans created lots of 'love and peace' vibrations and enjoyed the warm summer evening.

Flying-Circus/Thin-Crow bass player Roger Weitz performed (among others) songs by Neil Young and Jimi Hendrix.

Additionaly, Flying-Circus/Thin-Crow-singer Michael Dorp interpreted 'Jumpin' Jack Flash' (played at Woodstock by Johnny Winter) and the songs by British rock legende 'The Who'.

On these occasions, there were - at least temporarily - two Flying-Circus/Thin-Crow-musicians on stage simultaneously. Here: Michael Rick and Michael Dorp during 'Pinball Wizard'.

Later, Roger Weitz rejoined the band built around Dieter Kirchenbauer and Michael Rick when he played keyboards on one of the Joe Cocker numbers which were spectacularly sung by Sebastian Siebel - incredibly authentic! And Roger really let that organ roar during 'Summer in the City'.

During the final encore 'Proud Mary', wich was spontaneously done by all participating artists, even all three of the Flying-Circus/Thin-Crow-musicians present were on stage together for a short time - here next to Angela 'Janis Joplin' Hübner, Stephanie 'Grace Slick' Stillger and "Remember Woodstrock" mastermind Dieter Kirchenbauer.
